The masthead / Editorial leadership

Editorial focus: fine jewellery, rare gems, exceptional materials and craftsmanship.
The editorial approach
HonorPrice™ begins with close observation: what a material is, how it is worked and what changes when we look at it under different conditions. Its editorial approach connects visual storytelling with clearly identified sources.
The journal distinguishes an illustration from evidence, and an observation from a judgement of quality.

About the journal
Curiosity, with a clear point of view.
HonorPrice™ is an independent journal of materials and craftsmanship, published by Forgiveness & Gratitude™ Inc. in Austin, Texas, USA.
Look first. Explain carefully.
We start with an observable question. We distinguish what an image shows, what a source supports and what remains uncertain.
Beauty and evidence each have a place.
Illustrations establish atmosphere and invite close attention. Diagrams and interactive studies explain defined ideas. Generated artwork is identified and is not presented as documentary photography.
No shortcuts to value.
A high price, a natural origin or a long production process does not alone establish quality. We consider use, context and the specific properties being discussed.
Sources stay visible.
Observation notes include their references and review dates. Substantive updates should include a dated correction note. Any future commercial partnership must be identified and must preserve editorial independence.

The diamond, silk, steel, leather and watch images, together with the gemstone observation scene, were created with AI-assisted image generation; they are illustrations, not photographs of documented samples.

Makers & institutions
Knowledge worth sharing.
We are shaping a journal for readers who want to understand what goes into extraordinary materials and craft.
Our collaboration interests include documented making processes, material education and access to carefully described samples. Commercial involvement must be disclosed. A collaboration does not purchase a quality verdict or favourable editorial coverage.
